Baby no more...

Today is another sad day for mamma. Bradley has officially given up the paci. It all started two weeks ago when B had a cold and was congested. He didn't want the paci because it didn't help the congestion. Now that the cold is gone, he doesn't want it at all. When stuck in his mouth, he pulls it out and starts playing with it. I know I should be grateful that he isn't 5 sucking on a paci, and we didn't fight the paci battle, but this is another milestone that reminds me that my baby is getting to be a big boy. Goodbye paci, until the next baby...

Ewoks (He Walks)!!!

Bradley has been at this for some time now, but he's getting to a point where he can go distances now.  This is terrifying.

Happy 10 Months Bradley!

A workshop when he turned 10 months.  Colds for everyone for over a week now.  Cleaning the house to get ready for an Open House.  All this means, I've been slacking behind on all my photography stuff.  Been playing 'catch up' for a few days now.  Finally got to do 10 month photos!  Glad I did them before he turns 11 :T

Lucky Number 13

Today we celebrated Mulan's 13th Birthday!  If there is another dog on this planet that is a bigger lover and fighter in them pound for pound I's like to see it.  In her years Mulan has been thru so much.  This past winter has been especially tough on her.  So we thought for her next birthday, we'd do something special.

This year we celebrated with a few close friends and their pups!  Yup!  A dog birthday!!!  What started out as a small gathering turned out to be quite a party.  We had a big spread of pizza, Dinah's fried chicken, and a slew of side dishes.  Kim cooked steaks for the dogs.  And I made small doggy bags for everyone to take home!

We went way over budget than we liked.  But for Mulan, it was money well spent!  WE LOVE YOU MULAN!

Radio Flyer FTW!

I never had the iconic Radio Flyer wagon ... of any kind.  I've always wanted the classic metal red one.  But looking back, what would I have done with it?  It was too damn scary to ride in and it's basically a toy, to put more toys in.  If I'm not playing with my toys, the last thing I'd want to do is to lug them around to another place.

So I was really excited this Christmas when grandpa Chai got him the Pathfinder Wagon model.  A two seater plastic Radio Flyer that he's just the perfect size right now.  We really didn't get a chance to test out this bad boy at gramp's house.  For it was too cold at the time.  Today was a different story.

Kim started to slowly reacclaimate herself to working life by having an early morning work session with a couple of her teachers nearby.  Leaving dad, baby, and dog home alone.  After some playtime, I decided to try out the wagon.  Let me just say, I LOVE THIS THING.

There was no hassle in getting B to sit in the wagon, unlike a his stroller.  I think the openness of it had something to do with it.  Even though, it doesn't have the all-terrain wheels like other beefier models have, this things still rolls over rugged terrain really well.  But the best part?  Well ... see the results for yourself.

Off to a good start!

Bradley loving the open air!

I first thought he was looking down at something ...

So I looked from a diffrenet angle ...

OWNED!

VICTORY IS MINE!

The only negative is that B is exposed to the sun ALL THE TIME.  I walked in certain directions and on one side of the street to utilize the shadows as much as possible.  Even using my body at times.  I think/hope a quick fix to this is buying the canopy accessory for this.  It's be a shame to stop using this for such reason.

We Went to Wal-Mart!

I am NOT a Wal-Mart shopper.  I'm a Target guy myself.  It's more because of a convenience issue.  There are simply none around our immediate area.  So when a new location opened in my wife's hometown of Fullerton, CA we while we were visintg for the holidays we "just had to go".

Unlike other Wal-Marts I've been to, this one was quiet, clean, and lacking a few familiar clientele.  Other than a little brat who tried to ram his cart into ours as we walked by, the visit was quite enjoyable.  Fully stocked and neatly placed merchandise.  Customer service took a minor hit because our cashier forgot to pack our milk, but at least he was friendly.

Wal-Mart Fullerton Grade = A- (for now)

Let's get started

Refusing to play "cowboy"

You'll never drink from this aisle

Never

Ok ... maybe Dr. Thunder

This is more like it

See?!  No one here!
