Gymboree for Mommy

The roads are clear. Once again Caramgeddon kept all the cars at bay and we were able to roam the Westside no problem.

We missed Gymboree this past Friday so we took a makeup Saturday class as an opportunity for mommy to experience what daddy does every Friday

Happy Birthday Momma Bear!

Kim's 1st Birthday ... first as a mother that is

An action packed weekend filled with an anniversary and a fair share of birthday meals for the guest of honor.  I really didn't get to do the birthday photo shoot I'd hoped for, but my brother captured some of the best memories of the weekend. Thanks bro.

And happy birthday ... again ... Kim!

We love you!

6 Months!

More from this set here.

I Left My Heart Part 2

The last day of the trip found me and Bradley at Pixar to visit Gerald and Junn!  So much has changed on the campus since I last visited.  The biggest was the new tech building.  Floor to ceiling glass windows.  Wide open atrium.  Brick from here to eternity and a fire place big enough to park our old Mini into.

Lego friends ...

 Meeting Sully ...

Loving Lotso ...

Hanging out in the old neighborhood ...

I Left My Heart

Mamma Bear had to go up north for work this week. So we took the opportunity to test out how Baby Bear would take to flying. Needless to say, he did great. He slept most of the way, but hey, he didn't cry!

Here is baby before take off ...

Day one, got to a fast start as we went from airport to car rental straight into the city to visit some old friends.

First stop was to see mama's old friend and their baby girl Emiko. They got along very well ...

Next stop was to see uncle Chad and aunt Melissa for the first time! Good times followed they loved Bradley and vice versa.

Day two began with baby and daddy dropping off mama at work. Then it was straight to Skywalker Ranch to have lunch with daddy's old friend Corey.

In front of Yoda ...

Indiana's artifacts ...

Lucas Library ...

George's porch ...

Skywalker Ranch ...

The final stop of the day saw daddy taking Bradley to his old school where he learned how to make movie magic.

Playing with Uncle Eddie ...

Resting back at the hotel while we wait for the rest of the crew to arrive from LA. More fun to follow tomorrow!

Tune in tomorrow!

First Feeding

Five months, three weeks.

That's how long it took Bradley to get to the point where he was ready for his first non-mother's milk meal.

There was excitement in the air the whole day in anticipation for this event.  The food was bought.  The spoon and bowl were cleaned. The bib at the ready.  The only real variable was the reaction.

In true Bradley fashion you can see the gears in his head spinning as he took his first "bite" of cereal oatmeal. In a face we've never seen before, you can clearly tell that Bradley instantly knew that this was not his typical "nom nom".  A few seconds after that he goes on to think if he likes it, or not.

As you can see in the progression of the video, not only did Bradley quickly accept the food, but couldn't get it in his mouth fast enough.

Yup, food definitely will not be a problem with him.

Good Old Days

This past Saturday baby and daddy went to a baby shower for daddy's old friends Kate and Aaron. They met at our wedding and got married on our 7 year anniversary!

The shower was fun in that it was like I was back in school. When it was time to take a group picture I said it was to show our old and haggard faces.

Just kidding of course ... kinda.

Hitting the Gym

This little tough guy got tuckered out after a full afternoon at Gymboree. Bradley is quickly making new friends every week. He's by far the youngest of the lot with the average age of 7 months but physically he's almost on par with them. Hence he got bumped up a level on his first day. I'm so proud.

Labor Day Weekend

While us lazy folk were enjoying the three day holiday by sleeping in Sunday morning, Super Mom aka Kim was out completing her first (and only?) half marathon.  A feat incredible in itself, but keep in mind this woman gave birth to a child no longer than 5 and a half months ago.

WAY TO GO KIM!

3 Cheers to her other Aspire peeps as well!  Great job guys!
