Teething Monster

Beware: Nothing is safe from this guy. Fingers. Shoulders. Dogs. Everything he will bite into. This Sofi ring was useless a few weeks ago. But now it's his favorite item.

Also note the seat. People thought I was against baby chairs. Not the case. I was against Bumbos because of a few scary articles I've read. This is the Baby Snug by Mamas and Papas. It has a wider base. The inner padding comes out for when he gets bigger and the table is standard. Got it for a really great price over at Buttercup in Paseo Colorado if you were interested.

Happy 5 Months!!!

"Baby Beluga" turns 5 months today!  If there was any month where he went from 'newborn' to 'baby' (in my eyes), it was this one.  So many milestones in so little time, it was scary.  At this rate, he'll be winning Olympic gold, by month 10.

1.  Drastic improvement in head and neck control.  He can keep his head up all the time, with a few seconds of rest here and there.
2.  No more helping him get his arms under his shoulders for tummy time.  I can lay him down on back or face down with arms to side and he'll do the rest.
3.  He is a flipping monster.  We can't control the little guy.  He even refuses to sleep on his back anymore (which freaks us out).
4.  Self sustaining "stands" for seconds at a time.
5.  Can make him laugh and smile on command (my personal favorite).
6.  During his checkup, doc estimated him walking by nine months (which freaks out mommy but I don't believe it).
7. More accurate eye/hand coordination.  He'll reach out and grab anything within reach and appropriately shove in mouth.
8.  Least but not least, perfecting the art of Chic Magnetizing.

Ha La Ba Ji

Bradley had a great visit with his Ha La Ba Ji (grandpa in Korean). He only gets to see him a few times a month due to work, but they are two peas in a pod. Bradley looks like a combo of Ron and Grandpa. Below is a pic of Bradley and Grandpa taking a nap. Grandpa is known for being a big sleeper, and so is Bradley.

Grandpa is big into health. Below is a pic of grandpa in his new breathing machine. He claims it helps him sleep better at night and clear out his systems. I don't know if Bradley thinks that's true. Bradley is thinking "I am related to this guy"!

Grandpa loves Bradley so much! Good thing they can Skype all the time.

Family Picnic Day

Our annual social picnic was yesterday.  It was sort of a coming out party for Bradley as well for it was his first chance to meet lots of friends and extended family.  As usual everyone that got to meet him, fell in love with him.  He was so good!.  Totally a social butterfly he is.

At the end of the day we were able to gather our family for one big family photo op!

Mr. Bradley the Exerciser!

Three weeks ago, we decided to let Bradley try out his Jumperoo that Sandy and Tohean bought the little guy.  When we first put him in, his feet barely touched the ground at the lowest level.  We had to put a pillow below him so that his feet had something to touch.  Fast forward to present day, not only is the pillow gone, but as you can see, he's loves getting his jumperoo on!

Four Month Update

Mr. Bradley is now four months old. Here are some exciting facts about out big guy!

1. He weighs 16 pounds and is 24.5 inches long. So in other words 75% in weight and 25% in height. What can we say he is like a mini sumo wrestler.
2. Even though it may not seem like it, Mr. B is very active and loves to jump in his jumparoo. He starts jumping then starts giggling.
3. Mr. B still loves being held and entertained by everyone. He will definitely win in a staring contest. He has mom's thinking look.
4. Mr. B now sleeps in his big boy crib. Below is a pic of how he sleeps all night.
5. He is the sweetest boy ever, loved by all!

Benaraw Road Trip Extravaganza 2012!

One day, I decided to re-enact the road trip that my parents once took us when we were little kids ... up the California Coast and explore some of the treasures that the Golden State has to offer.  So finally we threw the baby, my parents, and lots of clothes into the van, and we were on our way!  Clicky!
